Terms of Use
Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-06-17
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of docio at https://docio.io (the "Service"), operated by ООО «ОКСИКОМ» ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
docio generates and hosts documentation, wikis and related artifacts from software repositories you connect or upload, using automated and AI-based processing. Features may change, expand or be discontinued over time.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for your credentials and for all activity under your account, and must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You must be old enough to form a binding contract under your local law and not be barred from using the Service under any applicable law.
3. Your content and repositories
- Ownership. You retain all rights to the source code, files and other content you provide ("Your Content"). We claim no ownership of it.
- License to operate the Service. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, copy, index, transmit, process and create derived artifacts (such as embeddings and documentation) from Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service, including sharing the necessary parts with the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy.
- Your responsibility. You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to provide Your Content and to have it processed as described, and that doing so does not violate any law, license, contract or third-party right.
- Generated output. Documentation and answers produced by the Service are provided for your use; you are responsible for reviewing them before relying on or publishing them.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Service for unlawful purposes or to process content you have no right to; upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access; interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; reverse engineer or circumvent security or access controls; or use the Service to infringe the rights of others. We may suspend or limit use that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or threatens the Service or other users.
5. AI-generated content disclaimer
The Service relies on large language models and automated analysis. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, and is not professional, legal or security advice. You must independently verify any output before relying on it. We do not warrant that generated documentation correctly reflects your code or is fit for any particular purpose.
6. Intellectual property
The Service itself — including its software, design, trademarks and content we provide (excluding Your Content) — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights in it except the limited right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
7. Third-party services
The Service integrates third-party providers (such as GitHub, GitLab, Google and AI infrastructure providers). Your use of those integrations is also subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
8. Fees
The Service is currently provided free of charge. We may introduce paid plans or paid features in the future. If we do, we will publish the applicable pricing and payment terms in advance, and any paid features will be optional and clearly identified before you are charged. Continued use of free features will not require payment unless we notify you and you agree.
9. Availability and disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer-protection rights.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages and expenses arising out of Your Content or your breach of these Terms or of applicable law, to the extent permitted by law.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as Sections 3, 5, 6, 9–11 and 13) will survive.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Санкт-Петербург, the Russian Federation, unless mandatory law in your country of residence (for example, consumer-protection law) grants you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere, which these Terms do not limit.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new version number and effective date and, where required, ask you to re-accept. Your continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
